Please read carefully before beginning form.

 

CERTIFIED ABUTTERS LIST – INSTRUCTION SHEET

 

ALL ABUTTERS LISTS EXCLUDE ROUTE 495 

SELECTMEN’S OFFICE:       FOR LIQUOR LICENSE:

                                                Property directly touching proposed locus and 500’ in all directions, including across the street for schools, hospitals and churches.

FOR ANYTHING ELSE:        ALL abutters within 300’ in every direction, including across the street.

                                               

ZONING BOARD:                 ALL abutters within 300’ in every direction, including across the street.

PLANNING BOARD:            ALL abutters within 300’ in every direction, including across the street.

                                                A FORM E and a copy of the engineer’s map or assessor’s map must be included with the submission of the list.

 


PLEASE USE THE FORMS AVAILABLE AT THE ASSESSORS’ OFFICE.

These forms are also available on disk, in excel format, for your convenience.

 

ASSESSOR’S OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:  (FOR CERTIFICATION)

 

You must have any & all abutters that each department requires.  They must be listed on the forms with map & lot numbers, owner’s names and COMPLETE MAILING ADDRESSES.  Also, be sure to fill out the top of the form completely on each page.  Failure to have all information will result in delaying the certification process.  The list should be typed; if not typed, hand-written will be accepted, however, it must be legible.  

 

NO REFUNDS – Once the abutter’s list is submitted and completed by this office, absolutely no refunds will be given.  The fee that this office charges is for the time spent to certify that this list is accurate and complete.

 

THE CERTIFICATION MAY TAKE UP TO 10 WORKING DAYS:

If there are more than 3 major mistakes (i.e. missing lots, wrong names or addresses), the contact person will be notified to make corrections.  Please remember that you are responsible to make your own corrections. Once the corrections are made and the list is resubmitted, the 10 working days for certification will begin again and the list will be certified within that time frame. 

 

**NO LIST WILL BE CERTIFIED WITHOUT CORRECTIONS BEING COMPLETED.

 

 

*THERE WILL BE A CHARGE FOR EACH LIST.  THE CHARGE WILL BE $25.00 FOR SUBMISSION AND $25.00 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL PAGE.  THERE IS A LIMIT OF 13 LOTS PER PAGE.

 

**ALSO, PLEASE TREAT CONRAIL TRACKS AS ANY OTHER ABUTTING LOT.
