  A GOOD RECREATION SYSTEM IS GOOD COMMUNITY BUSINESS  

 

DAY LONG PROGRAM

Ø      Open to children entering grades 1-7

Ø      8:45 am to 4:45 pm

Ø      Sports, swimming, games, contests and more!

Ø      Trained staff, low ratios

Ø      2 weeks just $325.00

 

REGISTRATION

Ø      June 21st & 28th from 9 am to 12 pm

Ø      Week of June 23rd to June 27th from 9 am to 4 pm

Ø      Registration is held at the Peirce Playground (behind the Police Station) at the Joe Masi Field House

Ø      PLEASE NOTE: A $10.00 late fee will be applied to all late registrations.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

SWIM LESSONS:

Ø      Certified Lifeguards

Ø      3 to 5 year old and Mom & Tots programs available for 2 days a week

Ø      Daily lessons for level development

Ø      Fee for 2 week session is $75.00

Ø      Non-residents $100.00 per session

FIELD ACTIVITIES:

Ø      Baseball/Softball/T-ball

Ø      1,000 Point Contest

Ø      Fee for 2 week session is $50.00

Ø      Non-residents $75.00

TENNIS LESSONS:

Ø      Age appropriate groups

Ø      Trained instructors

Ø      May require racquet and ball

Ø      Fee for 2 week session just $50.00

Ø      Non- residents $75.00

Registrations for all 3 areas in the same session are discounted to $150.00.

 

JUNIOR COUNSELOR PROGRAM

 Ø      For children ages 13 and 14

Ø      Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm

Ø      Instruction in CPR, first aid, coaching and lifeguard training

Ø      Fee is $200.00 per 2 week session

 

AFTERNOON SPORT CLINICS

Ø      Offered Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm

Ø      Fee is $50.00 resident and $75.00 for non-resident or $150.00 for all 4 clinics

Ø      NEVER TAKE RIDES WITH STRANGERS

Ø      DO NOT BRING LARGE SUMS OF MONEY TO THE PARK

Ø      LOCK BIKES ON RACKS

Ø      ALERT THE PARK TO ANY ALLERGIES

Ø      WEAR PROPER FOOTWEAR – “SNEAKERS” RECOMMENDED

Ø      SUPERVISE ALL CHILDREN AT PLAYGROUNDS AND FIELDS

Ø      TO ENSURE A CLEAN HABITAT, NO DOGS ALLOWED WITHIN THE PARK AND PLAYGROUND

POOL  INFORMATION

Ø OPENS: June 28th

Ø      CLOSES: August 24th (TENTATIVE)

Ø      Open daily 1 pm to 4 pm for $2.00

Ø      7 day pass is just $5.00 - Must be 7 Consecutive Days
Family Pool Pass for the Season - $75.00

Ø     Friday, July 4th –  Park Activities All Day Carnival 6-11 PM

Ø     Saturday, July 5th – Carnival 6-10 PM Wristband Night (RAIN DATE for Fireworks)

Ø     Sunday, July 6th – Carnival 6-10 PM 

Ø     Friday, July 4th:

Ø     N. Middleborough Parade – 10 am

Ø     Park events begin at 1 pm and include races and coin diving

Ø     Greasy Pole at 7 pm

Ø     Carnival 6 pm to 10 pm –last day!
